PNG is the usual format for screenshots, charts, and designs with sharp edges. Converting them to PDF bundles them into a document that looks the same on any device and prints at a predictable page size.
What happens to transparency
PDF pages are white, so transparent areas of a PNG appear on a white background. The graphic itself keeps its colors and edges.
What changes in the PDF
A PNG becomes a page. This is what happens to each part of it:

Common problems and how to fix them
A very tall screenshot looks tiny on the page
The whole image is fitted to one A4 page. Split long screenshots into several images first so each part fills its own page.
The logo looks different on white
Transparent areas become white. If the design was made for a dark background, add that background in an editor before converting.
The PDF is larger than expected
Screenshots with photos inside can be heavy. Continue to Compress from the results to reduce the PDF.
