Which formats can I compress?
Compress supports JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP images and PDF files. Each file keeps its format: an image stays in its format and a PDF stays a PDF.
Can I compress iPhone photos (HEIC)?
Yes. HEIC photos are opened in your browser as high-quality JPG and then compressed like any JPG, so the result is a JPG. Web forms and most apps accept it, and it is never uploaded.
How does PDF compression work?
Each page is saved again as an optimized image at 150 DPI. This works best for scanned documents and image-heavy PDFs. Text in the compressed PDF can no longer be selected or searched. If the result would not be smaller, the original PDF is kept.
Can I choose the compression quality?
Yes. Use the quality control to choose the balance between file size and visual detail. Lower quality can create more visible artifacts.
Does the tool show the real reduction?
Yes. Each processed file shows its original size, final size, and the actual percentage reduction for that result.
Does compression change the image dimensions?
No. Compress is for file weight. Use Resize when you need to change width or height in pixels.
Can I compress a batch for email, forms, stores, or websites?
Yes. Add multiple images and process them together. The current workspace supports up to 20 files, with a maximum of 25 MB per file.
How do I download compressed results?
Download completed files individually or package the completed batch into a ZIP file.
