When PNG is the better choice

Common problems and how to fix them
The PNG is much larger than the WebP
PNG is lossless. Compress it afterwards, or keep the WebP for publishing and use the PNG only for editing.
My editor still does not open the file
Check the extension is .png after downloading. Some phones keep the old name; rename the file if needed.
I only need to view the image
Use WebP to JPG for the smallest file that opens everywhere.
