Fit or crop
Fit without cropping keeps the whole photo inside the size you enter, never stretches it, and never enlarges it. Crop to exact size gives exactly the width and height you ask for and trims the edges that do not fit, keeping the center.

The preview shows your photo with the part that will be kept, the exact output size and ratio, and a warning if the photo has to be enlarged or stretched. Presets cover Instagram, stories, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and web banners.

Common problems and how to fix them
Part of the photo is cut off
A preset crops to the platform’s exact shape. Check the darkened area in the preview, or choose “Fit without cropping” to keep the whole photo.
The result looks soft
The photo was smaller than the target and had to be enlarged; the preview warns you. Start from a larger original when possible.
The file is still heavy
Continue to Compress from the results and choose 75–85 quality.
