Why use WebP on a website

Getting the smallest file
Convert keeps maximum quality so no detail is lost in the switch. To make the WebP as light as possible, continue to Compress and choose the quality level; the tool shows the real size before you download.

Common problems and how to fix them

Convert saves at maximum quality so nothing is lost. Continue to Compress and choose around 75–85 to get the size advantage.
Someone cannot open the WebP I sent
Some email and desktop programs do not support WebP. Send JPG for email and keep WebP for your website.
Photos are still heavy on my site
Most weight comes from pixels. Resize to the width your layout displays before compressing.
