Why WebP for pages on the web
WebP images are usually noticeably smaller than JPG or PNG at similar visual quality, so pages load faster and use less mobile data. Every current browser displays WebP, which makes it a good way to show a brochure, menu, or flyer directly on a site instead of linking a heavy PDF.
Quality and size
Pages are rendered at 150 DPI and saved at WebP quality 92. A typical scanned A4 page ends up around 150 to 250 KB, compared with more than 1 MB as PNG.

Common problems and how to fix them
My website builder rejects the file
Some older builders only accept JPG or PNG. Convert the pages with PDF to JPG instead; the rest of the workflow is the same.
The pages are wider than my layout
Continue to Resize and set the width your page displays, or twice that for high-density screens.
The text is hard to read on a phone
Show the page image at its full width, or split long documents into single pages so visitors can zoom in.
